WILDCOAST |
WILDCOAST is an international
conservation team, dedicated to the preservation of endangered species
and threatened coastal wildlands of the Californias. Through community-based
conservation, they are working to eliminate threats to ecosystems, and to
develop reserves to protect them into the future. Drylands Institution
staff collaborates with their strong sea turtle conservation and research program. |

The University of Arizona Herbarium (ARIZ)
houses one of the most important collections of herbarium specimens
of the Sonoran Desert region and, of course, the state of Arizona.
A set of nearly all of Richard Felger's plant specimens are at ARIZ.

History Museum (SD) contain an important regional collection, including a
substantial number of plant specimens collected by Richard Felger, some
of which are not deposited elsewhere. |

The young and growing Herbarium of the
University of Sonora (USON) is fully computerized and houses
ever-increasing and important collections from Sonora, Mexico,
and adjacent regions. Drylands staff is closely collaborating with USON. |
